Prof. (Dr) Seema Sharma is a post-graduate in Economics and Education. With a total teaching experience of over two decades, she holds a proven track record in leading and effecting the training and education of teachers at the graduate and post-graduate levels for well-known colleges. An author of seven well-acclaimed books, her articles get regularly published in well-known educative and science journals.She supervised many Ph.D. & M.Ed. research scholars.

Education is the most powerful weapon which we can use to change the world. It is a process of acquiring knowledge, skills, values, beliefs and habits. Education helps us to realize our self and prepares us to meet new challenges. Education cannot be imparted in vacuum to the children, it is only a teacher who can shape or mould children according to the requirements of time and trends of the society. There is no doubt that education is the instrument of social change. But it is the teacher who plays his positive role in bringing such a change. The teacher has to identify the talents and potentials hidden in the learner and nurture these. Teacher is bestowed with the greatest responsibility of nurturing the mind of learners. We at Aster College of Education aim at equipping the prospective teachers with knowledge that results in academic expertise, skills that lead to a techno savvy teacher performance, attitudes that gear you towards lifelong learning and pursuit of excellence and last but not the least professional values that will constantly remind you of your commitment and accountability towards the global society. The college also emphasizes to create through educational training qualitative educators for educating the emerging generations.
